How to Use a Psilocybin Spore Syringe

Psilocybin spore syringe is an essential tool for anyone who wants to try growing their own mushrooms. Spores are the first stage in the life cycle of a mushroom, but before they can turn into mushrooms they need to be germinated (developed and inflated) and then inoculated (imploded) into a substrate for fruiting.

When using a syringe to germinate psilocybin spores, you must make sure that the injection port and needle are sterilized before use. If you don’t, the spores will be contaminated before they can colonize the substrate and lead to a successful harvest. To sterilize a syringe, hold the needle over a flame until it turns red-hot. Then, wipe the injection port and needle with alcohol or another disinfectant to ensure that they are completely sterile.

Once the syringe is sterilized, fill it with 10 ml of distilled water. If the syringe has been stored in the refrigerator, it is best to take it out 12 hours before use. Spores must hydrate in a sterile environment to be fully viable, and they can stay fresh for up to 12 months.

To prepare the spore solution, open up the bag of spores and remove the spore print from inside. Be careful not to touch the spores, and then carefully scratch a small part of the spore print with a scalpel, making sure that some of the spores fall into the water. Next, take out the syringe and inject the spore solution into the spore print. Then, seal the spore print and syringe back up and put them in the refrigerator to maintain their viability for a few months.
